Ford Parts 7C19-8B607AA AC Evaporator Temperature Sensor for Ford Transit V348

On a Transit V348 / New Gen Quanshun, the 7C19-8B607AA is the little NTC sensor that lives inside the front A/C housing, right at the evaporator outlet. The HVAC module reads it to decide when the evaporator is about to freeze (around 0–4 °C) so it can cycle the compressor clutch, and to hold the temperature you set on the dial. When the probe drifts high, the module thinks the core is still warm — compressor runs flat out, vents stay warm, no cold air. When it drifts low, the compressor cycles every few seconds, the cabin pulses from cold to warm, and you can get an icing evaporator and a puddle under the dash.

Drop in the front sensor (this one), clear any B10xx / AC control fault, and the temp holds steady again. Important: this is NOT the radiator fan thermoswitch. That part screws into the radiator tank (M22×1.5, 90/95 °C or 110/105 °C click-on points). Ours is the in-plenum NTC probe — different part, different plug, different job.
