Heavy Duty WHT003857A Front Left ABS Wheel Speed Sensor Fit Tiguan Magotan

On the imported VW Tiguan 5N (2012–2014) and FAW Magotan B7 (2012–2015), the front-left wheel-speed signal comes from a grey, Hall-effect pick-up: WHT003857A. It's a cable-free 66 mm unit, 2-pin, active type — not the old black inductive sensor. Fit a black one into this slot and the ABS module reads garbage: ABS and ESP lamps light up, cruise drops out, and you'll log a wheel-speed signal implausible code that no scan-tool reset will clear.

This is the left-front only part. Right-front is WHT003856A. On cars with Park Assist (PLA), all four corners are grey Hall sensors; on non-PLA builds the rears are black inductive (WHT003859/858). If your customer only gives you the year, tell them to pull the old part and photograph the grey housing + the "857A" stamp before you ship.
